Have you ever noticed when you have exams you discover how much fun bloggin can be?
This movie is amazing. Probably the best I've seen all year. It has the most awesome plot twists. Go see it or I kill you!
Sort of? Apparently now when I post to vox it will be cross posted to Live journal. No word on weather you'll be able to comment on it here or just over there. Also I think it's just a summary + link. Anyways Tah!
So Close to finished!
Amazingly I did a 50 (exactly) page web site, and the entire site (including images, css, html, etc) is less than a megabyte. In fact, it's just over half 500 KB. The entire site could fit on an old floppy disk.
go here to have a look
Good News! I got to play the Wii for the first time today. They had it on display at Bondi. And I have to say it was so super fantastic! Wii sports tennis was so great. It was better than virtua tennis. They had Wario Ware Smooth Mooves on display which was great because people looked retarded! So any ways it was so amazing I decided I had to purchase a TV worthy of it's fantasticness (I had been planning on buying a TV for a while). So now I have a TV. And the Wii comes out in a month. I's so excited!
I finally got the CSS navigation to work right. Not I just have to Make it look gooooood. If you're interested see it at http://homepage.mac.com/pacmikey/newforests/assetmanagement.html
Keep in mind:
- I've only tested it in a few borsers so far.
- No links work
- Should be fully accessible if the styles don't load
- Blind people should be able to use it.
- Not designed to work with mobile yet.
Acessorise? Alrighty then!
Long story short: People complain about the height of (the top of) my pants, so I have purchased a device which causes my pants to no longer be located just above my wang. I'm sure you can figure out what that device is.
Also, I am finished syntax for good! I had the final exam today and it seemed much easier than it should have been. I should explain that linguistics was - by far - my worst subject. I never did the reading and didn't hand in all of the minor assignments (there were 5 bi-weekly exercises). The best mark I got on any of these was 5 / 10. There for I know I have at least 10% probably 15%. So I have to get 70% on the exam that I just completed to pass. Now I got into the exam and the lexicon (list of words and their translations) was really easy. 3 nouns (stick, book, teacher) and 2 proper nouns (Names) . 4 transitive verbs and two intreansitive. 1 preposition. 2 determiners. And then the verb could have 1 of two prefixes; either Mang or Di and it could have the suffix hon. This is where I started gettin stuffed. I think di meant passive voice (eg I was his by jim, instead of jim hit me) I think mang meant active (ie not passive). And I think that hon meant that an oblique was becoming an object.
Now, there was one sentence that confused me
"di-jaha-hon si Torus si Ria tukkot i"
di- - Passive
jaha - Hit (verb)
-hon - Oblique -> object
si Torus - Torus
si Ria - Ria
Tukkot - Stick
i - The
Sentence order is Verb Object Object Subject
"The stick was hit on Torus by Ria "
So di - means passive. So Ria becomes object.
-Hon means oblique -> object. So tukkot becomes object.
This is where I stopped (I couldn't figure out why tukkot was the subject) but just now I thought:
You need to have a subject.
and since Torus and Ria are both objects that tukkok HAS to be the subject...
There was other stuff too, but that's one thing that confused me.
My life is obsolete. Not only can robots beat me at math but they can also beat me at gymnstics now...
Go to this YouTube video to see why I am no longer needed...
I am writing this with a tummy full of mexican.
I went to gym(nastics) a little late today because I was sleepy. So I went there for less time but achieved the same amount. I can actually do something on the bars now! It's a backwards spin thing, hurrah! It was really good because there were only a few people (most of whom spent the time bitching) so there was plenty of space to play.
Afterwards I met Kate on King Street and we got Root Beer (me) and Apple Isle (Kate) before wanding up to the mexican restraunt. Then I ordered way too much food. And now my tummy is exploding.
